{Oh Hey There}

sweet mercy, it has been way to long since i last blogged! i am still here i promise, but life has been a bit crazy lately and my blogging has been put on the back burner.  i miss all you sweet bloggers in my life, so i promise i will be updating this more often. 

over the past few weeks i have been working on raising support for my trip to haiti, working two jobs, studying my brains out and leading two bible studies. honestly everyday i count my blessing and i am so thankful for the wonderful people that God has put into my life. i am being challenged everyday to share my faith and fearlessly proclaim his truth. more to come on some awesome God filled stories about sharing my faith! well i will be back soon with some fun posts, i pinky swear ! love you all tons!

{Hello Friday}

once again this chick it totally slacking on the blogging front... sorry it has been really boring over here. but bare with me i promise better things are to come.

{ how cute is she... this is one of my best friends from high school... she recently graduate from a school in Chicago and moved home! so i am so excited that she is back in my life... we had a fun time catching up over dinner and drinks the other night}

{ ahhh, so excited ! i had my first haiti meeting this week to prepare for  our trip in may. i cant even handle how i am excited i am to work there. i would love for you to pray for our team as we prepare}

{ its the little things in life that make me happy... this week i bough a new lap at target! i love it , such clean lines and i love that it goes with everything}

{ i am working on making my hair healthier. this week i met with our aveda rep michael for work and he gave me this whole set for free ... he wanted my hair to get stronger... well, you wont have to twist my arm to take free aveda product}

{ cant believe this weekend is here... TRIBAL is our high school/ middle school youth group winter retreat. if you think about it pray for all of us, there are going to be over 500 high school and middle school students there. i just pray that they really would grow their relationship with the lord. and pray for us leaders that we get some sleep lol }

i can't even believe that it is Wednesday... time is flying. being that it is Wednesday you know what this means.... 'oh how pinteresting' with  the vintage apple ! 

last night i was looking up some fun trends for spring 2012. when i was on vogue's website i saw one of the up and coming trends for spring 2012 is going to be pastel colors... so today i want to introduce you to my current fave pastel color.

{Happy Valentines Day}

sorry for being m.i.a the last few days... but i am back and ready to get this valentines day party started ! 

what are everyones plans for tonight?! hott date, fun night in, or just no plans at all.

so far my valentines day has been pretty chill... although i woke up to a little surprise this morning, my wonderful parents hid gifts all over my house . they sure know how to make me feel loved. so for my fave gift i got was a new tiffiany's charm for my bracelet. i just about passed out from excitement, i was totally not expecting it . 

i am pretty excited about tonight too. since i have no valentine to go out on a date with... i am going out with my galentines ... some of my best friends and i are going out for dinner and drinks and then we are going to see the vow. i am so excited to see this movie you have no idea, maybe its because channing tatum is in the movie ?! its true i have a crush on him... oh well, a girl can dream right?!

today maybe a made up hallmark holiday, but today makes me really think about our heavenly father and how he lavashes his LOVE on us everyday.

{ got to spend allot of time with this precious flower this week. yesterday was her 5th birthday, she is growing up so much! i asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday and her requests were to go to starbucks and then go shopping at target! girl after my own heart }

{ be still my heart... i found these kate spade gems at marshalls yesterday... 50 dollars for these beauties , and they were originally 150! i am just a little excited about this find, by now you probably know my love for anything kate spade}

{ sorry for the horrible iphone quality of this picture! but, as you can tell i was in dire need of some dress shoes for work... so i bought these babies at target for 30! i love them , such a comfy wedge. and they do not make me look too tall, this is a problem i have with most heals}

6. I have multiple tattoos and am no where near finished getting them. Most have flowers and bible verses.

7. I sang the National Anthem for a basketball game in middle school, once. Was too scared to ever do it again.
8. I used to love school. Now, I hate it. I went for Elementary Education and stopped when I started planning our wedding. Will I go back?? Eventually but probably for Nursing.

9. Baking is my passion. I operate {Little Cakes} for fun.

10. I work as a full-time nanny for a beautiful toddler, Elle. It makes me want my own, soon.

11. I am obsessed with Target. I am there 4...5 times a week. Literally.
12. I am notorious for sending Christmas Cards out the day after Thanksgiving. I get a lot of crap for it but I am just wayyyyy prepared. ;)
13. I suck at math.
14. It's my dream to have a southern accent where I can say "bless your heart" and it would be accepted. Plus I love country music.

15. I "suffer" [that's what people call it but it isn't that extreme] from migraines.
16. I am a chronic organizer.
17. I ran into a wall chasing my brother when I was 5. I now have a sexy Harry Potter-like scar.
18. Elf is my favorite movie.
19. Top 5 words that describe me are: loud, bubbly [my husband says warm], loyal, passionate & a people pleaser.
20. I have a Husky/Samoyed dog, Brutus. He's huge and goofy and I love him SO much.

{oh how PINTERESTing wednesday}

happy hump day!!! by now you know what wednesday means ... its 'oh how pinteresting wednesday' with 'the vintage apple'! i am super excited for this weeks fun pinterest finds. the only downside to looking at pinterest, is i just want to go on a major shopping spree... so right now i am practicing self control , and restraining my 'shopaholic' self! its like window shopping online... right?!
